When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information. Financial information you input is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. Premium users with Cloud Sync have data stored in our secure cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase/Firestore). We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide and maintain the SpendlyAI service. To process your transactions and generate financial analysis. To sync your data across devices (Premium Cloud Sync). To send relevant notifications (payment reminders, budget alerts). To improve our AI categorization and recommendation engine. To provide customer support.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your financial data is primarily stored locally using Hive encrypted storage. For Premium users, data is transmitted using bank-grade encryption (TLS 1.3) and stored in Google Firebase infrastructure. We implement SSL pinning, runtime application self-protection (RASP), and 15+ security verification checks.
4. Data Sharing
We never sell your personal or financial data. We do not display ads. We only share data with: Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication and sync), RevenueCat (subscription management, no financial data shared), and Crashlytics (anonymous crash reports).
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access all your data, export in CSV or PDF (Premium), delete your account and all associated data, opt out of analytics collection, and modify your personal information.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Local data is deleted immediately.
